Here at Jeraco making a quality product  and the safety of our customers that use our products are of the greatest importance to us.  With that in mind we use only the highest quality materials available to make your truck cap.  These features include but are not limited to:
  • Premium Primer Gel Coat
     This key component helps to ensure a smooth finish to our truck caps.
  • Reinforced Fiberglass Structure:
     Before the Fiberglass is added to your truck cap Jeraco technicians
     hand lay fiberglass reinforcements in high stress areas.
  • Premium Unfilled Resin:
     Jeraco uses a Jeraco exclusive, premium unfilled resin that combines with
     our fiberglass that ensures superior strength and resists cracking.
  • The Jeraco Base Rail:
     Jeraco uses an integrally molded base rail that is totally encapsulated to
     ensure strength and durability.
  • Factory Finished Edge:
     With no screws or pop rivets to work loose and no unsightly extrusion
     take away from the factory finished look of our base rails.
  • Extra Reinforced Roof:
     The roof of your truck cap or sport lid comes with our double-walled and
     reinforced roof that is one of the strongest on the market today.  Not only is it
     sag-resistant, but combined with our fiberglass rails, it ties your cap into
     one solid unit that is the toughest in the industry.
  • Rubber-Mounted Side Windows:
     At Jeraco we install our side windows with an OEM quality locking window
     rubber that is specially formulated to resist weathering and provides a tight
     seal to virtually eliminate leaks.
  • DOT Approved Safety Glass:
      Jeraco only uses glass products with a smooth, sleek appearance that are
      more importantly made from DOT approved safety glass.
  • Two-Lock Rear Radius Doors:
      A large rear helps with the loading and unloading of cargo while the dual
      handle and OEM quality lock configuration of our doors helps to maintain
      the security of your truck bed.
  • Gas Filled Door Cylinders:
      All rear doors and side doors used in Jeraco truck caps feature gas filled
      door cylinders for improved ease of opening and ensure that your doors
      stay open while they are in use.
  • Front Picture Window:
      Jeraco truck caps come standard with a clear glass front picture window
      allowing unobstructed vision into the bed of your truck.
  • 12 Volt Dome Light:
      This standard feature wires directly into your trucks electrical system and
      provides light for the interior of your truck bed.
  • Recessed Brake Light:
      Jeraco provides free of charge a DOT approved LED brake light that
      recesses snugly into the rear of our caps and replaces the brake light cover
      by your Jeraco truck cap.
