SEATING OPTIONS
The Vision™ has a variety of seating options to suit your unique
mobility and capacity requirements.
Driver or Passenger Power Transfer Seat:
An optional transfer seat to the driver or passenger position is
available. The transfer seat is available with a vinyl slip cover to
ease transfer by reducing friction.

Middle Row OEM Captain's Chairs:
The optional bucket seats allow the wheelchair user to sit beside other
passengers in comfort. Original equipment captain's chairs can be
remounted or if more width is needed for wider wheelchairs, we offer a
narrower bucket seat.

Middle Row Smaller Buckets:
Middle row bucket seats allows over 30" of space between the bucket
seats for the wheelchair user. The bucket seats are trimmed in fabric,
vinyl or leather to blend with the OEM interior colors and patterns.

Folding Rear Bench:
When folded down, the rear bench adds two more seats behind your
wheelchair. When folded up, it allows you to get in and out. To fold the
bench up, you simply pull a lever the counterbalanced bench easily hides
out of the way.

SAFETY
The health and safety of our customers is held paramount at Viewpoint
Mobility. We have designed our modification to be the safest possible
and our twelve-year long testing program proves it. Not only is it one
of the longest testing programs in the industry, but the results from
crash testing are used to continuously improve design concepts in future
generation
modifications.
Our testing program includes crash testing, seat and seat-base testing,
and brake testing. We have also completed emission and sound testing. In
every test, the Vision™ has exceeded FMVSS (USA) and CMVSS (Canada)
standards.
Our modification is preferred because of the fact that the vehicle
manufacturer's unibody design is not compromised. Our construction
techniques ensure that the vehicle's frame is as perfectly aligned as it
was when it came off the production line. Other modifications are more
intrusive because a significant piece of the vehicle is removed in
construction, and the original safety and quality characteristics are
altered.
We are proud of our safety initiative and we are pleased to pass the
benefits of one of the safest wheelchair accessible vehicles on to you.

ABOUT CRASH
TESTING
Viewpoint
Mobility works hard to stay at the forefront of lowered-floor minivan
engineering and testing. A crash test consists of testing the Front,
Drivers Side, and Rear of the same van to see if it meets Federal Motor
Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS).
The first picture to the right is the Ford Windstar after the frontal
crash. After the impact the van is left untouched for 30 minutes to see
if fuel leaks out. We passed successfully and had no fuel leaks!
The next picture is the same van after the rear crash was performed.
After the impact the van is left untouched for 30 minutes to see if fuel
leaks out. We again passed with no leaks!
After
each crash the van is put onto a rotisserie to ensure that there are
indeed no leaks. The van is rotated in 90° increments and held there for
5 minutes to see if anything leaks out. You will be glad to know we had
zero fuel leakage on all 3 (Front, Side & Rear) successful crash tests
of this van!
