• The SaltDogg TGS02 4 Cubic Foot Tailgate Spreader is ideal for residential and light commercial applications using ice melt and bagged salt and works with 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1 ton trucks. It features a horizontal auger feed that keeps material moving. The spreader has a low-profile 4 cubic foot poly hopper and mounts to a 2 in. Class 4 receiver.

The spreader operates a 9 in. poly spinner and can cast material up to 30 ft. Its 1/3 HP, 12V dual shaft gear motor is controlled by an included variable speed in-cab controller. It comes prewired for an optional vibrator kit (sold separately).
