• The SaltDogg TGS03 8 Cubic Foot Tailgate Spreader is ideal for commercial applications using bulk salt (or a 50/50 salt/sand mix with the optional vibrator). It features a horizontal auger with a stainless steel trough and is compatible with 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1 ton trucks.

• The spreader has a low-profile, 8 cubic foot poly hopper available in black, red and yellow. The hopper's frameless, double-wall construction is durable and highly corrosion resistant. The spreader mounts to a 2 in. Class 4 hitch with patented horizontal and vertical adjustment.

• Its 12 in. poly spinner can cast material from 3 to 30 ft. A 1/2 HP, 12V dual shaft gear motor is controlled by an included variable speed in-cab controller.

Note:

 The TGS03 Spreader Extender (see "Accessories" below) is required for installation on trucks with flared tailgates.
